Return & Refund Policy
Returning Items Bought from Otterbox.com
If you are not satisfied with any product purchased directly from Otterbox.com, you may return it for a refund within thirty (30) days of the original purchase date. Otter Products, LLC ("Otter") will refund the purchase price of the item plus any applicable taxes to your original form of payment. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable. Most refunds are processed with fifteen (15) business days after receipt of your return to our facility but may take several business days to appear on your online statement depending on your card issuer's internal processes.
Returned items must be returned with their original product packaging. Returned items must be in new and unused condition. If you have a warranty issue, you may submit your warranty claim by visiting OtterBox and LifeProof Warranty; please do not initiate a return.
To start your return, you will need your:
- Order number
- Order email
- Billing Zip Code
If you checked out while signed into your Otter account, you can find your order number in the "Order History" section of your account. The order number can also be found in your order confirmation email. If you are unable to locate your order number or confirmation email, please reach out to our customer service team via OtterBox Contact Us or by calling 1-855-688-7269.
You can initiate your return by visiting Otterbox.com Returns. Once you have initiated your return, you must postmark your return within ten (10) days of initiating your return.
You are responsible for return shipping and handling charges and for securely packing your item. We are not responsible, and have no obligation to issue you a refund, for returned product that is damaged in transit. Additionally, except for products returned using our courtesy shipping label, we are not responsible and have no obligation to issue you a refund for any product that is lost in transit.
For customers who purchase and return their product within the United States, Otter will provide a courtesy shipping label for $8 USD. If you elect to use a courtesy shipping the label, the cost of the label will be subtracted from your total refund amount.
Returning Items Not Bought on Otterbox.com
Otter does not accept returns of products purchased from other retailers. Please refer to the return and refund policy of the retailer you purchased your Otter product from if you need to initiate a return.
